	Why Sponsorship? Alexandria & Akea’s Playhouse, Inc. (AAPI) is a not-for-profit organization founded to provide quality inclusion daycare, in a home setting for the special needs and the typical growing child. Our program allows children with and without disabilities a chance to secure relationships with friends, enlighten peers and form the basis for understanding, acceptance and kindness. This in return will be the foundation for creating a mutual respect plus understanding for the concept as well as value of tolerance and diversity. In an effort to address problems in the community, AAPI implemented “Women Empowerment Conferences” for women of all diversities. We seek to address these issues by offering workshops conducted by industry leaders on: Entrepreneur Opportunities, Health & Wellness Seminars, Financial Empowerment & Wealth Building Workshops, Homeownership and Credit Counseling. These annual Conference’s will and has served over a hundred women. This can also be witnessed by our extensive mailing list. AAPI has accomplished what it has set out to do, inform the community on available services and giving knowledge, because as it still remains to be true, “Knowledge is Power”.
