"Eleven years ago I was given the privilege of being assigned as teacher-in-charge of the Miller Street School Student/Community Garden. It has been very exciting to be with the children when they are experience nature as direct observes.

The students have had the opportunity to investigate a multitude of concepts such as composting, "worm watching", planting, harvesting, respect for animals, etc. This only touches on a few of the themes the children need to enrich their lives.
