Wedding Planner Web Design

Here is a website I designed for a WEDDING & EVENT PLANNER in New Jersey. The design had to be stylish while avoiding the cliched pastel colors often associated with weddings. It also had to appeal to an affluent market with a classic design sense.

I choose a muted green color palette with touches of white. A background of subtle green stripes was used to suggest a fine wallpaper. I also had the opportunity to feature dramatic wedding photography. I used a dhtml menu customized to blend into the overall scheme of the design. Since visitors will no doubt be coming into various pages of the site from search engines, each page makes use of dramatic photography to touch the emotions of the viewer.

Finally, text is used on all pages in a way that allows keywords to be properly indexed by search engines. This insures that the site ranks well in major search engines.

The final result is a clear, simple and elegant design that serves as the perfect medium for the business it serves.
