We especially appreciate an honor given us by the Information Technology / Communication Services Dept. of University of California, Santa Barbara. Their Information Technology Staff did a SITE AESTHETICS REVIEW SURVEY of popular websites. In the survey, a selection of highly regarded corporate, advertising, and museum websites were rated by three criteria: Design, Color, and Menus (Navigation).

When results were tallied, Newark1.com (this website) tied for second place! In fact, we were preferred over high-budget websites designed for AT&T, the Guggenheim, BellSouth, and PBS! These are websites created by the creative departments of multinational advertising agencies with healthy budgets.

What this proves is that major corporations with big budgets are not the only ones who can afford great web design.
