This new addition to our web design portfolio is a redesign of an ARTIST / ILLUSTRATOR PORTFOLIO we created five years ago. In that time, blogs have become a popular and strategic addition to websites. In addition, the quality of coding available for image galleries had advanced. Therefore, our client needed a refreshed web design and enhanced, updated functionality.

Our client is an accomplished artist / illustrator who had a clear vision for this web design. He provided a painted canvas of warn neutral colors that became a key element in the design. This insured that the design successfully compliments the personality and techniques of the clients' artwork featured in the portfolio. Finally, we added an easy-to-maintain blog, and an updated image portfolio. The client now has the tools to easily maintain all content on his website.

An important requirement for this web design was simplicity. The target audience for this website are busy advertising, publishing, and media professionals who need fast, no-nonsense access to our clients image portfolio. Therefore, superflous elements like Flash animation are avoided, and navigation is clear, simple and direct.

The end result? Our client loves the redesign! A proof of ease-of-use is periodically visiting the website and seeing the new additions the client is making on a regular basis. We appreciate the opportunity to work with good clients like Larry Roibal!
